Bag making machine
Machine Designer
I have been working at Newlong Industrial Co., Ltd. since I was a new graduate. The good thing about working NLI is that although it is a predominantly male environment, I was able to keep my position even after taking maternity and paternity leave for my two children. I am really grateful to the company. Currently, as the president of the employee association, I am struggling every day to negotiate with the company. I hope that NLI will always be an attractive company while aiming for a better working environment for its employees.

Chicago Branch, U.S.
General Manager
I joined the company as a career changer through an introduction from a friend who was working at a related company. At the time, the company was in the process of establishing a new sales department, but by sticking to my daily routine, I was eventually given the responsibility of starting and managing stores in the North and South American markets. in the U.S., There are a lot of surprises every day. I will continue to take on challenges with the spirit of "If you try, it will work out.” My goal is to achieve annual sales of half billion yen here at Chicago, U.S.

Mechanical assembly
My hobby was model making, especially in dioramas & SFX and going to museums. The reason I joined the company was the personality of the president, Mr. Cho, who gave me the company guide at my school. Here at NLI, I can see the gradual assembly of large machines, which is as rewarding and exciting as my hobby of modeling. Recently, I am no longer afraid of getting my work clothes dirty, and I feel that I have grown up. I would like to be able to handle a whole range of tasks on my own as soon as possible.

Domestic Sales Dept.
Bag Making Machine Division
I am in charge of sales of bag making machines and printing machines. Providing products that meet the needs of the times and the customers gives me a great sense of fulfillment as they evolve and change, but sometimes things go wrong. At such times, what comes to mind are the words of Mr. Kohnosuke Matsushita, whom I respect and admire,"Do you put your life into your work? After 15 years in the business of sales, I have had my share of peaks and valleys. I believe that whether you succeed or not depends on how you feel in your heart. What I have learned at NLI is that if you give it your all, you can turn a pinch into a chance. For me, work is something to be enjoyed with 100% effort.

Kitakata Factory
Electric Machine Assembly
The reason I joined Newlong Industry was because I felt the demand and attraction for NLI's large machines that manufacture paper bags. I was really surprised to see the process of making paper bags with a bag making machine! The Kitakata Factory has amazing machines, but it's also a very comfortable environment to work in, surrounded by good seniors and a good atmosphere. I work in electrical assembly and wiring, and I find it very rewarding when I complete the wiring without making mistakes and see a large machine in action. I want to spread the NLI brand to the world, so I am working hard every day with the goal of traveling overseas as an engineer in the future.

Electrical Designer
Since I was a child, I liked crafts and video games, but I was also a gymnast who played ice hockey. When I was looking for a job, I knew I wanted to be involved in manufacturing. At NLI, I was in charge of the design, wiring diagrams, and software for the bag making machine manufactured at the Kitakata Factory, and I acquired skills and knowledge through work on the job and in the field. What I find rewarding is when the customer is pleased with my work during the pre-shipment inspection. I will continue to strive to design products that are easy to assemble in the field and easy to use for end users.

In charge of China and Southeast Asia
I work in the International Sales Division, mainly in overseas sales. I have been on many overseas business trips here, which has completely changed my view of the world. What I am working hard on now is to develop new markets and expand sales in overseas markets, especially in China and Southeast Asia. Overseas projects can be really tough, but they are also very rewarding and give me a great sense of accomplishment. I believe that as the scope of my work expands, I grow up as well as the company. My dream is to make the NLI brand even more famous worldwide by its technological and developmental capabilities.
